I do make my own mixes, but I'm not pompous enough to do a "preview" of my mix when it sounds like complete shit. I have more dignity than that. If you value your work, especially in this day n age of how plentiful music is and how fast a song can be a hit and then dead within matter of weeks... All that hard work, release it right... do an album, let the masses preview it that way, then when it dies down, revive it with a full single release.... don't be killing any chances of the song with your 10 year old ice cream melody track... get some VST plugins, get a different sound, geez
